Late yesterday afternoon Erin and I took the girls to a really nice park. The plan was that Ella could practice riding her new Hello Kitty bike on the walking path that circles the park. It was so much fun. Ella was a riot, and was also an impressive little bike rider! I can not begin to describe how adorable she was jumping off some landscaping rocks and saying goofy things while pointing at us and raising her eyebrows up and down in her trademark stare. Then later she noticed these huge hills of grass and gave up her bike to run up the hill. She ran up the hill, at least 100 yards from us and sat at the very top of it. Then without any prompting she began rolling down the hill as far as she could. It was truly a great feeling seeing her play and enjoy life like that.
